We have two ranges, being the varietal and DHV (Daniel’s Hill Vineyard) ranges. The DHV range is made exclusively from estate grown fruit. The varietal range is made from both some estate fruit (often from fruit harvested from younger vineyard blocks) supplemented by some locally sourced Yarra Valley fruit.

 

2003 DHV CHARDONNAY
Aroma: Delicate floral notes complement toasted hazelnut aromas, which arise from barrel fermentation and maturation in Vosges barriques.
Palate: A long and complex palate with evocative flavours of tropical fruit and apple custard.

Aroma: An aromatic nose of blueberry, cassis and chocolate.

2001 CHARDONNAY
Aroma: The warm 2001 vintage produced an intensely rich bouquet. Some yeast autolysis notes are evident from the barrel fermentation.
Palate: Complex and generous in nature, pineapple and dried fig fill the mouth with a fresh acidity. Creamy in texture, oak influence has provided additional flavours of cedar and hazelnuts.

Aroma: A lively bouquet bursting with strawberry and fresh roses.
Palate: A full bodied Rose, dry in style consisting of cranberry and strawberry flavours with hints of licorice and spice. Best served slightly chilled.

2002 PINOT NOIR
Aroma: A Burgundian, complex nose of truffles, earth and dark cherries.
Palate: Maturation in French oak barriques has resulted in fine, long tannins complementing the savoury and intense dark cherry flavours.

2001 SHIRAZ
Aroma: A truly unmistakable varietal bouquet of intense pepper, all-spice and boysenberry.
Palate: A luscious palate of dark berry fruit flavours, combined with spice and a wonderful mocha chocolate finish. The combination of American and French oak has provided both structure and support to the fruit flavours, as well as lending subtle vanillin oak integration.
